As a preview to the evening's lunar eclipse, John Beaver, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at UW Oshkosh and author of Photography: Physics and Art in Focus, describes the ins and outs of lunar and solar eclipses -- and what they can tell us about the nature of shadows and some of the earliest photographs ever made.
